About me

My name is Zoe Mastromihalis and I'm an undergraduate student in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences at Rutgers University - New Brunswick majoring in Nutritional Sciences on the Dietetics Track and minoring in Biological Sciences. 

 

My journey to the field of nutrition began when I witnessed loved ones struggling with diet-related health issues such as diabetes, hypertension, and hypercholesterolemia. I wanted to be able to help them and others struggling with similar issues by promoting healthy lifestyles and learning how to treat these conditions from a clinical standpoint.

I have a history of working in various food service and healthcare settings, and have taken on leadership roles in multiple student organizations. Through my experiences, I have developed skills in patient care, customer service, professional communication, marketing, and event planning. My peers describe me as hardworking, positive, and open-minded.

In my free time, you will most likely find me cooking, traveling, and gardening.
